Long Beach, CA (December 16, 2019) – One woman was seriously injured and two people were arrested following a confrontation that led to a person being run over by a vehicle in Long Beach. The incident took place on Anaheim Street near Magnolia Avenue at around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, December 15th.
According to Long Beach police, the victim and two other women arrived at the scene with a male driver, identified as Harrison Bowser, 30, of Los Angeles. The victim and one other woman got into an altercation outside of the vehicle, at which point Bowser struck the victim and fled with the other two women.
Medical crews arrived at the scene where they transported the victim to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Bowser and the woman involved in the fight, identified as Samantha Smith, 26, of Long Beach, were eventually apprehended and arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. The investigation is ongoing.
