Long Beach, CA (February 2, 2020) – A male pedestrian was killed in a crash at an intersection in Long Beach on Friday, January 31st. The collision was reported around 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of Redondo Avenue and Hill Street.
According to police reports, an unidentified man was walking in the area when he was struck by a 2020 Ford Ranger pickup truck. Rescue officials arrived soon after the crash and rushed the man to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The driver initially left the crash scene but later returned and cooperated with police investigators.
No additional information has been released.
