Long Beach, CA – 3 Injured in Apartment Fire on Pine Ave

Long Beach, CA (March 9, 2020) – An apartment fire left at least three people injured on Monday morning, March 9th. The incident happened in the early morning hours at around 3:30 a.m. inside a building located on Pine Avenue in Long Beach.

According to officials, a fire broke out inside a unit in the 1100 block of the roadway, resulting in fire officials and paramedics at the scene. Three people were transported to a local hospital to be treated for burns and unspecified injuries.

Two of the victims are believed to have jumped from the second floor of the building. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
