Lompoc, CA – 12-Year-Old Struck & Injured in Accident at Chestnut Ave & M St

Lompoc, CA (September 5, 2019) – A 12-year-old girl was struck and injured by a motor vehicle on Wednesday morning, September 4th. Police stated that the accident happened at around 7:40 a.m. at the intersection of Chestnut Street and M Street.

Authorities said that a mother was walking across the street with her 12-year-old daughter when the child was hit by a vehicle. Fire department officials and police were called to the scene where they discovered the young girl lying in the roadway. The victim was unconscious due to the impact of the accident.

Emergency medical crews rushed the victim to Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria. She was then transported to Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera County. Her current condition has not been specified. The events that led to this crash are under investigation.
