Lompoc, CA – 1 Killed, 2 Seriously Injured in Highway 1 Crash

Lompoc, CA (February 15, 2020) – One person was killed and two others were seriously hurt after a head-on crash in Lompoc on Friday, February 14th. The crash happened around 6:20 p.m. on Highway 1.

The California Highway Patrol was called to crash scene. According to reports, a Mazda Miata and sedan crashed head-on in the northbound lanes of the highway. At this time, it is unclear what caused the crash to occur or which vehicle was traveling the wrong way.

One person was pronounced dead and two others were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. The Lompoc Fire Department was also at the scene along with CHP officials.

The cause of the crash is being investigated. No further details have been released at this time.
