Lakeland Village, CA (November 13, 2019) – Authorities responded to the intersection of Grand Avenue and Blackwell Boulevard following a report of a pedestrian struck at approximately 4:37 a.m. on Tuesday morning, November 12th. The fatal collision happened in Lakeland Village in Riverside County.
According to the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department, a pedestrian was attempting to cross the intersection when they were struck by an unspecified vehicle. Emergency responders were immediately dispatched to the scene where they worked to provide lifesaving procedures.
The victim succumbed to their injuries at a later time.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Authorities are presently conducting a thorough investigation into the events that led to this incident.
