Jurupa Valley, CA (October 24, 2019) – A woman was killed in an auto-pedestrian collision that took place late Wednesday night, October 23rd, in the town of Jurupa Valley. The fatal incident was reported at the intersection of Limonite Avenue and Troth Street at approximately 11:08 p.m.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, deputies from the Jurupa Valley Station arrived at the scene to find the female victim in the roadway. She was pronounced deceased at the crash site.
Authorities have not released the identity of the victim at this time. The Jurupa Valley Station’s Traffic Reconstruction Team is currently in charge of the investigation into this incident.
We would like to offer our condolences to the family of the victim at this time.
According to reports, the state of California was sadly home to the 15th highest rate of fatal pedestrian accidents during the first six months of 2017. Approximately 352 people were killed in auto-pedestrian collisions during that time. Victims are generally unprotected when they are struck, leaving them with a significant risk of suffering fatal injuries during any California pedestrian accident.
Family members are often left with pain and suffering alongside the affliction of enormously high expenses. Suffering such a sudden loss is understandably difficult and it is important to know that you may likely have substantial rights if the victim was not at fault for the crash.
