Irvine, CA – Pedestrian Critically Injured in Collision at Von Karman Ave & Morse Ave

Irvine, CA (December 18, 2019) – Police stated that a pedestrian was critically injured following a collision with a motor vehicle that took place on Monday afternoon, December 16th. The incident occurred in the area of Von Karman Avenue and Morse Avenue at around 4:35 p.m.

According to witnesses, a white pickup truck veered across the roadway and hit the pedestrian who was walking along a sidewalk near the intersection. First responders arrived at the scene to find the victim suffering from life-threatening injuries.

The victim, whose identity has not been released, was immediately airlifted to a nearby trauma center where they are currently listed in critical condition. The official cause of the collision is actively under investigation.
