According to statistics, fatal pedestrian crashes take place in California approximately every two hours. Pedestrians face a great danger any time they are on the roadway in our state, as California consistently ranks among the most dangerous places in the nation for pedestrians. Most pedestrian accidents result in injuries and many of them are severe and life-altering.
Police must carefully investigate each pedestrian crash in order to determine who was at fault. Drivers often fail to yield or are otherwise negligent and their negligence contributes to the cause of the crash. If you or a loved one have been involved in a pedestrian accident, you could have legal rights under California personal injury law.
