Huntington Beach, CA (January 3, 2020) – Authorities have confirmed that a 30-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by a motor vehicle on Thursday night, January 2nd, in Huntington Beach. The fatal collision took place on Pacific Coast Highway near Magnolia Street at around 11:00 p.m.
Officers stated that the 51-year-old driver of a Dodge Durango SUV was traveling along PCH when they struck the victim. Emergency crews arrived at the scene to find the victim lying on the side of the roadway with fatal injuries. The severely wounded pedestrian was pronounced deceased a short time later.
The driver involved is not currently facing any charges but the incident remains under investigation.
