Highland Park, CA (January 30, 2020) – Officers have now reported on a serious auto-pedestrian collision that took place early on Saturday morning, January 25th, in Highland Park. The accident happened on Avenue 51, a little south of Eaton Street at around 1:05 a.m.
According to officials, police are looking for the driver of a gray Ford Mustang who was reported to have struck an unidentified person and then fleeing the scene. First responders arrived at the scene and immediately transported the victim to a nearby hospital.
Officers continue to search for the driver involved in this incident as part of an ongoing investigation.
