Fullerton, CA (January 2, 2020) – Police have stated that a 17-year-old boy was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle while riding a skateboard along West Orangethorpe Avenue in Fullerton. The collision occurred on Tuesday afternoon, December 31st, at approximately 12:39 p.m.
Officials with the Fullerton Police Department arrived at the scene where the victim was struck by a gray Mercedes sedan in the 2400 block of the roadway. Medical crews immediately rushed the teen to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.
The driver of the Mercedes remained at the scene as authorities began their investigation into the cause of this accident.
