Eastvale, CA – Shawn Elder Killed in Motorcycle Crash on I-15

Eastvale, CA (September 1, 2019) – A 23-year-old man was killed in a crash between a car and a motorcycle in Eastvale on Friday, August 30th. The crash took place around 6:00 a.m. on Interstate 15 near westbound 60 Freeway.

According to police, Shawn Elder was riding his motorcycle on I-15 when he entered a curve in the roadway. As he navigated the curve, Elder’s bike collided with a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction. Elder suffered critical injuries and rescue workers pronounced him dead at the crash scene. There were no other injuries reported in the accident and there is no word on the cause of the crash.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene and opened an investigation. The investigation is still active and there is no further information available at this time.
