Corona, CA – Carmen Castillo Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Sixth Street

Corona, CA (February 16, 2020) – A 35-year-old pedestrian from Corona lost her life in a crash that took place on Saturday, February 15th at around 12:25 a.m. at the intersection of Sixth Street and Crawford Street.

The Corona Police Department responded to the crash scene. When crews arrived, they located Carmen Castillo lying in the roadway. Castillo was unresponsive. Crews began life-saving measures on Castillo but she was ultimately pronounced dead as a result of her injuries.

The vehicle that struck Castillo remained at the scene following the crash. The driver has not been identified and there is no information on the cause of the crash at this time.

The Corona Police Department is investigating.
