Long Beach, CA (August 28, 2019) – A woman and two children were injured in a motor vehicle accident near 2nd Street and Temple Avenue in the Bluff Park section of Long Beach on Sunday, August 25th. The incident took place at approximately 7:45 p.m. when the driver of the vehicle involved fled on foot.

The accident was reported as a two-car collision that occurred when the driver involved attempted to go around a stopped vehicle on 2nd Street. The driver subsequently collided with a vehicle that was heading north on Temple Avenue.

The Long Beach Fire Department responded to the crash and ultimately transported one woman, an 8-year-old boy, and an 11-year-old girl to a nearby hospital. All injuries have been classified as non-life-threatening.

Multi-Vehicle Accidents in California

Tragically, more than 3,000 California car accidents resulted in fatalities in 2017, and thousands more suffered minor to catastrophic injuries. Although there are often many different reasons why a collision can occur, you may be entitled to file a claim for compensation in the event that you have been hurt due to the negligent actions of another party.

Because of the extremely high costs of medical bills and physical recovery on top of lost wages, many victims will opt to file a claim for financial recompense. It is our belief that anyone who has operated a vehicle in a negligent manner, resulting in the injuries or death of another person, should be held accountable for their actions.

At The May Firm, we will work with you to ensure your rights and give you the peace of mind needed to focus on the path forward.
