Bloomington, CA (March 27, 2020) – On Thursday night, March 26th, a pedestrian was struck and injured by a hit-and-run driver, according to officials with the California Highway Patrol. The incident was reported at around 8:46 p.m. along Linden Avenue in Bloomington.
Authorities stated that an unidentified pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in the area of 11797 Linden Ave., between 6th and 7th Streets. The driver was reported to have fled the scene immediately after the collision.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and ultimately transported the victim to a nearby hospital for treatment. The present condition of the injured pedestrian was not provided. Police are searching for the driver involved as part of their investigation into this incident.
