Bakersfield, CA (October 26, 2019) – A female pedestrian sustained injuries in a hit-and-run that took place on Highway 155 in Bakersfield. The incident occurred around 8:43 p.m. on Friday, October 25th.
According to reports, the female was walking when she was struck by an unidentified vehicle. Rescue workers arrived shortly after the collision and the woman was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. There is no word on the extent of her injuries at this time. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene before police could arrive.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing at this time.
