Apple Valley, CA – 1 Killed & 1 Injured in Collision on Hwy 18

Apple Valley, CA (April 1, 2020) – One person was killed and another suffered injuries following a multi-vehicle collision that took place in Apple Valley. The fatal crash was reported at around 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, March 31st, along Highway 18.

According to authorities, a blue 2002 Chrysler Town and Country van collided with a 2014 Toyota Rav4 near Apple Valley Road. The Toyota was then pushed into the opposite lane, subsequently colliding with a white Dodge van and a 2012 Toyota Highlander.

The first Toyota at least partially rolled over during the crash and responding paramedics tragically pronounced the female driver deceased at the scene. One passenger in the Dodge van was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. The extent of their injuries was not reported.

Police are investigating the cause of this incident.
